Surroundings

We have a collaboration with a riding school (https://www.facebook.com/royaloakranch/ ) that is located only few km far away from us, here is possible take riding courses open to all (from 4 years old) and go horseback riding to discover the surroundings supported by professional trainers.

Close to our Agriturismo you will find tennis fields, trekking paths, bikes tours which allow you to visit our wine cellars, olive oil mil, breweries, honey or spelt making centers, where you can taste typical local products. You can also find many restaurants or taverns where you can taste the traditional dishes of the region.

The territory

The Agriturismo Miralbello settled in the heart of Marche region, it is surrounded by Cesano Valley a territory where there are the prints of an ancient history, which allow our territory to be one of the most interesting of the region. The strategic position of the Agriturismo let you to reach easily the most tourist areas of the region.

Very close to our farmhouse you can visit the archaeological site of the ancient City of Suasa, the typical hamlet of Montalfoglio in San Lorenzo in Campo, the town of  Pergola where you can visit the Bronzi Dorati Museum, and from here you can easily reach the ancient Camaldolese Monastery of Fonte Avellana, quoted in the Divina Commedia from Dante.

The Agriturismo is not far from the historical towns which belong to the most beautiful hamlets of Italy: Corinaldo, MondavioMondolfo, SassoferratoArcevia and its nine castle (Avacelli, Castiglioni, Caudino, Loretello, Montale, Nidastore, Palazzo, Piticchio, San Pietro), the Vallesina area and the Jesi Castles (famous area of the wine Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, one of the most important wine grape variety of Italy).

These places belong to another dimension which refer to a balanced life with the natural rhythms of the seasons and in harmony with the nature, places of history and tradition with a space and time friendly for people.

Only in few km you can reach cities of art as Fabriano and the Paper MuseumGubbioUrbino and its Old Town UNESCO patrimony,  Gradara and its castle, FanoPesaro and the Regional Park of Mount San Bartolo with cliffs and fine stony beaches with amazing panoramic roads through you can reach the old hamlets as Casteldimezzo and Fiorenzuola di Focara.

We are not far from the Adriatic coast where you can easily reach the velvet beach of Senigallia, a waterfront with fine sand with both free beach and well-equipped beach resorts, an elegant town center full of many shops, restaurants and bars, and many alleys all to discover that hide architecture treasures as churches and museums.

Southly, you can reach Ancona and Riviera del Conero, a promontory with its peak on the sea full of many inlets and small stony beaches with crystal clear water. The area is protected by the Regional park of Conero and the seaside resorts of Portonovo, Sirolo and Numana belong to this park. The presence of woods directly in contact with the beach together with panoramic view towards the majestic bulk of Conero represent the great charm of this area. From here is possible to visit Camerano with its caves complex under the town and Loreto with the biggest Mary’s Sanctuary of Italy, one of the most important pilgrims place of the Catholic world.

If you prefer the majesty of nature, in addition to Monte Conero and Monte San Bartolo, you will find natural park such as Monti Sibillini and Gola della Rossa and Frasassi, and natural reserves as Gola del Furlo and Monte San Vicino that will give to you a complete picture of the regional landscape.

Among the natural highlights in the proximity of the Agriturismo there are Monte Catria, Grotte di Frasassi, the underground karst caves with an extraordinary value also environmental and landscaping inside the Regional Natural park of Gola della Rossa, district of Genga, where it has also been created the ancient thermal bath of San Vittore where you can enjoy pleasant beauty and therapeutic treatments, and Gola del Furlo, a real paradise where the charm of the landscape crossed by the river among the rocky sides of the mountains of the Gola joins the prodigious richness of the nature.

In addition to numerous paths for trekking which are available for visits also with naturalistic guides, who is really adventurous can test himself into many activities (bike, mountain bike, riding, mountaineering, climbing, speleology, adventure parks, and in particular periods of the year canoe and rafting). Children can be also involved in thematic games park, educational activities and creative and naturalistic workshops.

Feasts and events

Marche region is full of typical feasts and great events both cultural and gastronomic famous in Italy and internationally.

During the summer time CaterRaduno (June- July), Summer Jamboree festival (August), fireworks show on the sea and the local fair of Sant’Agostino (end of August), Pane Nostrum (September) in Senigallia; Rossini Opera Festival (August) and Pesaro Flm Festival (June) in Pesaro; the historical Palio dell’Oca (August) in Cagli; Monsano Folk Festival (August), Festival Pergolesi Spontini (settembre) and the local fair of San Settimio (September) in Jesi; Festa della Cipolla in Castelleone di Suasa (September); the regional market of black truffle and much more.

During the spring time the historical Palio of San Floriano (first week of May) in Jesi; Festa dei Folli (April) in Corinaldo; the fair of San Ciriaco (April/May) in Ancona.

During autumn and winter you can visit the Adriatico Mediterraneo international festival (October) in Ancona; Festa delle Streghe (end of October) the Halloween party in Corinaldo; the National Fair of white truffle (October/November) in Acqualagna and Pergola; Festa della Cicerchia (November) in Serra de’ Conti; Carnevale di Fano (February/March) the most ancient Carnival of Italy.

Food and wine

It is impossible to forget the typical products of the territory such as honey and olive oil of Corinaldo, the onions of Castelleone di Suasa, crescia of San Lorenzo in Campo and Frontone, sour cherry wines, the fine truffle, cheese and wines from Pergola.

If you prefere gourmet cuisine, in Senigallia you can enjoy an unforgettable experience in two 2 Michelin-starred restaurants, the “Madonnina del Pescatore” by chef Moreno Cedroni and “Uliassi” by chef Mauro Uliassi.
